Kuching Man Raped His 10-Year-Old Stepdaughter While His Wife Was In Confinement
He had been committing the act for a year.

A 33-year-old man in Kuching was arrested yesterday, 6 November, for raping his 10-year-old stepdaughter over the last year
According to Sin Chew Daily, the man was arrested from a hotel room on Jalan Lapangan Terbang yesterday.
State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief SAC Denis Leong revealed that a police report was lodged by the victim and her family members on 4 November, reported Utusan Borneo.
The act was uncovered after the victim refused to return home from her grandmother's on 4 November
The victim revealed her year-long agony after being questioned by her family members, and said she did not dare to return home and face her stepfather.
In the latest encounter, the girl was sleeping in the living room before being raped by her stepfather.
The girl's mother was in confinement while the atrocious acts happened
Sin Chew Daily reported that the girl's mother had recently given birth to a child, and was in confinement when the 10-year-old was violated.
The man is currently being investigated under Section 376B of the Penal Code for incest, and will remain in police custody until 13 November.
