King And Queen Extends Their Christmas Greetings To All Christians In The Country

"May this festive season bring peace, prosperity, goodwill, and happiness to all."

The Malaysian King and Queen have extended their Christmas greetings to all Christians in Malaysia celebrating Christmas today

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah wished 'Merry Christmas' in a photo that was uploaded on the Istana Negara Instagram page earlier today, 25 December.

Their Majesties' post on the Instagram page read:

"Wishing you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year. May this festive season bring peace, prosperity, goodwill, and happiness to all."

Prior to the King and Queen's Instagram post, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad also extended his Christmas greetings

In a video message uploaded on his Facebook page, Tun Dr Mahathir said:

"To all Christians in Malaysia, both citizens and non-citizens, my wife and I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you."
