On the night of 28 February, a Malaysian man allegedly pushed his Thai girlfriend off the 23rd floor of their condominium in Setia Alam

According to Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim, the 32-year-old woman died after falling to the seventh floor at 10.02pm on Wednesday, reported The Star.

So, what happened?

1. Alleged domestic dispute

The New Straits Times quoted Mohd Iqbal as saying that the 37-year-old suspect and the victim were heard arguing by their neighbours, who filmed the incident on their phones.

"The deceased was seen being pushed from the 23rd floor and falling to the seventh floor of the condominium," he said.

Loud noises were also heard in videos of the incident circulating online. In one of these videos, the victim can be heard crying out just before she is seen being violently thrown off the balcony of their 23rd-floor unit.

SAYS has viewed the videos but has chosen not to share them here due to their extremely graphic nature.

According to Bernama, a urine test conducted on the night of the incident revealed that he tested positive for cannabis. The 37-year-old suspect was arrested at 10.10pm the same night.

Meanwhile, SinarDaily quoted a resident at the condo describing the incident as a "brutal murder", stating, "To me, the perpetrator of this crime is cruel and inhumane".
