Huge Pythons Burnt To Death And Orangutans Suffer Respiratory Problems Due To Haze
It is not just humans who suffer.

Let's be frank, we are sick of this haze.
The worrying air pollutant levels in Malaysia has led to schools closing, ill bodies, and horrible weather conditions.
It has become so bad that the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) released a statement on Tuesday, 17 September, that a haze emergency will be declared when the Air Pollutant Index (API) exceeds 500.
So you can only imagine the conditions in Indonesia's Kalimantan forest, as orangutans suffer respiratory problems from the toxic haze
On 17 September, animal welfare group Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation said that the haze has affected hundreds of apes in its rescue centres.
"The thick smoke does not only endanger the health of our staff... but also it affects the 355 orangutans we currently care for", the foundation said, according to Malay Mail.
About 37 orangutans have contracted mild respiratory infections.
In addition, huge pythons were recently found burnt to death by local residents fighting the forest fires
Python carcasses, measuring up to 10-metre long and 20-centimetre in diameter, were found, according to animal welfare CAN Borneo.
On 13 September, locals dragged out the carcasses at a forest in Baamang Tengah in Central Kalimantan.
The Facebook post revealed that pythons of this size are able to swallow goats and cows.
Some of the helpless reptiles were even found with their mouths open wide having suffered an undeserving death.
