Yesterday, Red Shirts took their hooliganism beyond the level of human decency when members from the racially-charged group physically assaulted two Bersih supporters in Sabak Bernam

Two motorcyclists wearing Bersih t-shirts were pelted with eggs by Red Shirts when they crossed the street into the Red Shirts area

According to an eyewitness, both the men approached the Red Shirts after they were pelted with eggs from across the street. However, while one man retreated, another man, whose bike had crashed, stood his ground and was pelted with more eggs.

However, police say the two motorcyclists had wanted to go home and they decided to go through the road controlled by the Red Shirts, Malaysiakini reported.

One of those two men, who was pulled off his motorcycle, was kicked, twice, by Red Shirts while a police officer tried to intervene

The impact of the kick from Red Shirts member was such that it sent the men wearing Bersih t-shirt sprawling to the ground. And as a police officer tried to help the Bersih biker he was kicked again, this time by another Red Shirts member from the back.

According to a report by Malaysiakini, the Bersih biker was later escorted away from the scene, following which Jamal Yunos, the leader of the Red Shirts, asked his followers to lift the man's battered bike. He then personally handed it back to the cops.

You can watch the whole thing as it was captured in a video, here:

The Red Shirts leader justified the physical assault on the Bersih biker saying "if it wasn't for Bersih this wouldn't have happened"

Feigning helplessness over the egg pelting by his Red Shirts members, Jamal told reporters that it was something that was "out of his hands".

"It's a good thing they threw eggs. What if they threw stones?" he said.

While defending the attack on the biker, Jamal instead put the blame on him, saying, "They knew this is the Red Shirts area yet they come to provoke us. If they want to show they are great by crashing our area, that is their fault. Whatever happens, we are not responsible, because if it wasn’t for Bersih this wouldn’t have happened."

Jamal, who is also Sungai Besar UMNO chief, also vowed to be more aggressive next time, saying "I'll vault my car on top of theirs"

It was reported that the Sabak Bernam police are trying to track down the Red Shirts members who assaulted the motorcyclists. However, they have not classified the case and will only do so "once an arrest is made", Sabak Bernam OCPD Supt Nor Azmi Isa said.

He, however, said there was "no need" to probe the egg pelting as "no one was hurt."

Meanwhile, earlier this week, Jamal Mohd Yunos claimed that electoral watchdog Bersih has links to terrorist group Islamic State:
