Video Shows 2 Heroic Strays Braving Traffic To Rescue Injured Dog Hit By Car In China
We really don't deserve dogs. :')
A heartwarming video has been making waves online, showing two stray dogs in China fearlessly rescuing an injured pet dog that had been hit by a car
CCTV footage from 30 March shows a white dog attempting to cross a busy road before being struck by a passing vehicle. The poor pup collapses and lies motionless in the middle of traffic.
That's when two stray dogs come into view. They spot the injured dog and immediately rush to its side.
As they gather around their fallen friend, cars continue to zoom past — some swerving to avoid them — but none of the drivers stop to help.
After a few tense moments, one of the strays takes charge, bravely dragging the injured dog to the side of the road, away from danger
They then try to nudge it awake, but the dog remains unresponsive.
Fortunately, the injured dog's owner, Mr Xue, later confirmed that his pet survived
He explained that his dog had slipped through a gap in the door and ran onto the road, where it was struck by the car.
When Mr Xue returned home and noticed his pet limping, he checked the CCTV footage and was devastated upon seeing the incident.
However, he was deeply moved by how the two stray dogs risked their safety to drag his pet to the roadside.
Mr Xue took his dog to the vet, where they confirmed that there were no fractures — only minor external injuries that required rest.
The bravery of the stray dogs quickly went viral, touching the hearts of many netizens. People praised their loyalty and selflessness, with some even suggesting that Mr Xue adopt the two strays for saving his pet.
In a heartwarming update, Mr Xue confirmed that the two stray dogs have now been rescued and will no longer have to survive on the streets.
This touching act of heroism is a reminder of the kindness and loyalty that dogs, even strays, are capable of showing.
