Hadi Awang: Keep Calm, We Are Still In The Lead
The president of the party with the most members of parliament (MPs) believes that they will prevail.

"Keep calm. We are working on it. We are still in the lead," said PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang in a Facebook post published at 8.34am today, 24 November
"They (our rivals) are making plans. Allah is also planning. We are on the right side of history. God willing, we will prevail. The country will prevail."
At the time of writing, the Facebook post has gone viral with over 12,000 likes and 1,200 shares.
The reassuring statement for PAS supporters comes after UMNO secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said his party will not back a unity government that is led by Perikatan Nasional (PN), which PAS is a component party of.
The party is the biggest winner in the 15th General Election (GE15) with 49 seats.
Today marks the fifth day after the national polling day on Saturday, 19 November, with the country yet to see its next prime minister
UMNO, a component party under Barisan Nasional (BN), is currently regarded as the kingmaker as the coalition has 30 seats out of 222 parliamentary seats. The Yang di-Pertuan Agong has decreed that BN's 30 members of parliament (MPs) must take part in a unity government.
This comes after PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin told reporters that the Agong proposed a unity government between PN and Pakatan Harapan (PH), but he rejected the idea. He claimed he has the support of 115 MPs, which is enough to form the new government.
PH has 82 parliamentary seats, PN has 73, GPS and GRS have 29 combined, Warisan has three, KDM and PBS each won one seat, while independent individuals hold the remaining two.
PN cannot achieve a simple majority of 112 seats without roping in BN, the same goes for PH.
Over the past few days, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong has stepped in and summoned political party leaders to find out who commands the majority support for the appointment of a new prime minister, but the effort did not bring the political impasse forward.
Yesterday, 23 November, insider sources revealed that PH has proposed a 10-point agreement to BN in the hopes that the two coalitions can accept the terms to form the next government.
Meanwhile, it is not known what are PN's next steps to attempt to seize federal power.
