Grab Partners With Ministry Of Health To Provide Discounted Rides To 16 Hospitals

The partnership aims to alleviate traffic congestion and parking problems in hospitals.

Southeast Asia's leading e-hailing company Grab has another partnership in its pocket – this time with the Ministry of Health

The aim of the partnership is to offer convenient and affordable transportation for hospital patients and visitors by alleviating parking congestion in select hospitals nationwide. 

In a press statement, Grab revealed that the partnership was announced and officiated at the Serdang Hospital, which was attended by Health Ministry deputy secretary-general (finance) Datuk Mohd Shafiq Abdullah and Grab Malaysia's head of public and government affairs Amri Sham.

As part of the partnership, 16 selected hospitals nationwide will be allocating special drop-off and pick-up zones for Grab passengers

The participating hospitals are: Ampang Hospital, Kajang Hospital, Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Kuala Lumpur Hospital, Selayang Hospital, Serdang Hospital, Sungai Buloh Hospital, Putrajaya Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital II, Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital, Sultan Aminah Hospital, Georgetown Pulau Pinang Hospital, Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital, Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, and Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital.

Grab is also offering a special promo code GRABMOH, which offers a RM4 discount to new customers, while existing customers will get a RM4 discount for two rides
