The Istana Negara has instructed the leaders of all political parties and coalitions to submit the name of their Prime Minister candidate

In a statement today, 20 November, the Comptroller of the Royal Household Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin asked party leaders and heads of coalitions with the most number of seats to work together to form a government.

They will be asked to propose a prime ministerial candidate to Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah by 2pm tomorrow, 21 November.

This comes as yesterday's general election (GE15) saw no party or coalition win sufficient seats, or a simple majority, to form a government on its own.
