Zalina's 33-year-old son Mikhael Norman had reported her disappearance on 29 November last year

According to New Straits Times, Shah Alam police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said Mikhael had been trying to contact his mother since 24 November to inform her that his grandfather was admitted to a hospital, but she could not be reached.

"On 29 November, Mikhael and his uncle visited her house in Section 3, Shah Alam, and found that her car was still at home," ACP Iqbal said.

He said that when they went to the house, where Zalina was believed to have been staying alone, they found it in a disordered state.

"They found (Zalina's) purse in the house containing her MyKad, driving licence, bank and credit cards, RM600 cash and car key, but she was nowhere to be found.”

He added that all efforts to locate her have been undertaken, but she is yet to be found.

The police are now requesting public assistance in the search for the former TV personality, who used to host TV3's Money Matters programme, among others

Senator Datuk Ras Adiba Mohd Radzi, a former TV personality, has also appealed on Instagram for the public to help find her friend and urged her to come home.

"Where are you, Zally? Please come home, just come home," she wrote.

Those with information on Zalina's whereabouts are urged to contact investigating officer Sergeant Sabturia Lorong or call the Seksyen 6 police station at +603-55194622.
