Former Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad To Head COVID-19 Task Force In Selangor
60% of the cases in Malaysia have occurred in Selangor.

Former health minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad has been appointed to head the COVID-19 task force in Selangor
In an announcement yesterday, 10 March, Selangor's Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said that Dr Dzulkefly will lead a council of four health professionals.
In his statement, he revealed that 60% of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia were found to be in Selangor.
So the team is in charge of finding ways to prevent the virus from spreading further in the state.
Amirudin also added that the council will work with Smart Selangor Command Centre to track the high-risk locations.
"In addition, we will go to schools and public areas to advocate on how the community can help prevent the spread of COVID-19," he said, according to Malay Mail.
Amirudin also noted that the public does not need to worry because the situation is still under control
However, he did remind people to continue to follow the prevention steps as listed by the Ministry of Health:
- Wash your hands with soap regularly.
- While on trips to high-risk countries, always bring along a mask and hand sanitiser, avoid crowded areas or markets that sell animals, and avoid eating food that is not been properly cooked.
- If you are unwell, seek medical treatment immediately and practise self-quarantine for 14 days.
There have been a total of 129 COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, including 12 new cases that were reported yesterday, 10 March.
According to Bernama, 25 of those patients have fully recovered and been discharged.
