5 Graduates File Lawsuit Against Pakatan Harapan For Not Fulfilling GE14 PTPTN Promise
PTPTN has yet to receive the writ of summons.

Five individuals recently filed a lawsuit against Pakatan Harapan (PH), National High Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), and the current government for not fulfilling General Election (GE14) promises
Berita Harian stated that the plaintiffs are Andy Putra Haris, Farah Athirah Kamarozaman, Mohamad Asrol Md Jailan, Mohamad Muzakkir Mohamad Ali, and Mohammad Awad Sobri.
The five, which are between the ages 27 to 34, filed the writ of summons through the e-Filing system at the Kuala Lumpur High Court Registry on Tuesday, 22 October.
They named PTPTN as the first defendant, PH as the second defendant, and the government as the third defendant.
The group's lawyer said that PH failed to materialise their manifesto within 100 days as promised.
According to him, PH previously insisted that PTPTN loan repayments would be waived for those earning less than RM4,000 a month.
Adnan Seman, who represents all five plaintiffs, said that the government has been negligent in implementing most of the electoral promises contained in Buku Harapan.
He also stressed that PH promised to lessen the burden of living incurred by youths.
The group reiterated that PH, PTPTN, and the government are contractually bound to deliver the promises in the manifesto after securing victory in the last election
According to Malaysiakini, the five plaintiffs said that Malaysians are holding on to the promises as something true, binding, and would be realised.
They also mentioned that the faith of the people would fade if it merely amounted to empty promises.
Education Minister Maszlee Malik said that PTPTN has yet to receive a writ over the lawsuit
Free Malaysia Today reported that on Wednesday, 23 October, Maszlee said, "I have contacted PTPTN but they have not received any writ yet."
He added, "Once they receive it, they will act and come out with an official statement."
