On 17 November, the Fire & Rescue Department (JBPM) saved a cat named Oyen at a bridge at Taman Putra Perdana in Puchong

According to New Straits Times, the JBPM received a distress call at 5.17pm to rescue Oyen.

The cat was stranded on top of a garbage pile stuck to a bridge pillar. Underneath the garbage pile, the river level was high and was flowing rapidly.

11 firemen, a fire engine, and an Emergency Medical Retrieval Services team from JBPM Cyberjaya were sent to the location

A rappelling and pulley system was used to reach the cat in order to bring it to safety.

The whole operation ended at 6.35pm with a happy ending - a tearful reunion between Oyen and its owner

All's well that ends well, thank you Abang-abang Bomba for your services!
