[UPDATE] The 67-year-old senior citizen with memory loss, who was reported missing on Saturday, 14 December, has been found safe and unharmed

Joseph Vincent John was found in Damansara Damai, Selangor yesterday, 19 December, with the help of the public and the police.

In an update today, 20 December, Vincent's son, Royceson, told SAYS that the police brought his father to the Kota Damansara police station, where the family was reunited after an anxious six-day search.

Royceson added that his father has since been taken to the hospital for a check-up and is now back home, safe and sound with his family.

Previously, the family in Kuala Lumpur appealed to the public for help in finding their missing loved one, a 67-year-old senior citizen with memory loss, last seen in the Jinjang Utara area

According to a Facebook post by a family member, Joseph Vincent John was last seen between 1.45pm and 2pm on Saturday, 14 December, in Jinjang Utara.

His niece, Audrey Lee, shared that Vincent typically gets around on his red and white Honda Wave Dash 110 motorcycle, bearing the number plate WMK 1007.

She explained that he has a history of memory loss, which has left the family worried that he might be disoriented and unable to find his way home.

Vincent's son, Royceson, told SAYS that his father was last seen wearing a grey round-neck T-shirt and black shorts.

He had left home to buy chicken rice for lunch, but the shop he intended to visit was closed.

The family has searched all of Vincent's usual hangouts but has yet to find him. They have reported him missing to the police on Saturday.

Anyone with information about Vincent's whereabouts is urged to contact his family at +6018-3694158 (Royceson) or +6010-2747217 (Mary).
