They celebrated their three-week wedding anniversary and Veteran's Day by killing a man for the thrill of it.

Elyette Barbour, 22, and his wife Miranda Barbour 18, were married just three weeks when they allegedly killed Troy Laferrara, 42, after setting up a meeting with him on Craigslist.

It isn't that the 42-year-old man had done anything wrong to infuriate Elytte Barbour and his wife.
The couple - married three weeks -- just wanted to kill someone together, police said.
And Troy LaFerrara happened to be the unlucky one.

"They went out to dinner on Veteran's Day to celebrate and to enjoy the thrill of killing," Sunbury Police Chief Stephen Mazzeo told the Daily News Saturday.
Police say the couple used an advert offering companionship for money on classifieds website Craigslist to lure LaFerrara to his death.

Miranda Barbour, 18, told police in Pennsylvania that she lured Troy LaFerrara, 42, to this parking lot at the Susquehanna Valley Mall before their fatal encounter.
Image via nydailynews.comAccording to authorities, the Selinsgrove couple picked up LaFerrara November 11, three weeks after they got married, for a sexual encounter in a parking lot.
Mr Barbour allegedly choked LaFerrara with a cable cord while his petite, bespectacled spouse repeatedly stabbed him.
Barbour told police he and his wife had tried to kill others. But the plans didn't work out.
"So they continued to try to find someone," police said.
"LaFerrara was just the one with whom the plan worked."
Elytte told The Daily Item of Sunbury that his wife hired herself out as a nonsexual “companion” to men online. He said his wife regularly made between $50 to $850 for meeting with men to talk or have dinner.

New details emerged Friday with the arrest of Elytte Barbour, who told police he had hidden in the backseat of his wife's Honda and waited for a signal from her to wrap a cord around LaFerrara's neck.
After LaFerrera responded to the Craigslist ad last month, Miranda arranged to meet him. On November 11th she picked him up from a mall in the couple's SUV.
Elytte said he was hiding in the backseat of the vehicle, waiting for a signal from his wife.

On the signal, he wrapped a cord around LaFerrara's throat, holding him in place while his wife stabbed him 20 times.
Miranda initially denied knowing LaFerrara, but changed her story as investigators found that the last call received by the victim's mobile phone was from her number.

She then admitted meeting the victim, but said she'd stabbed him in self defence after he'd groped her and put his hands round her throat.
According to police, she said after dumping his body Miranda shopped for cleaning supplies, before picking up her husband and taking him to a strip club for his birthday.
