Elderly Man Dies While Waiting For His Turn At A JPJ Office In Bangi

An elderly man died while waiting for his turn at a Road Transport Department (JPJ) office

According to Berita Harian, the incident took place yesterday, 14 September, at the JPJ office in Seksyen 7, Bandar Baru Bangi.

Authorities received a report around 10.21am regarding a man who was unconscious while sitting in the waiting area of the office.

An ambulance was rushed to the location to check on the man

Kajang district police chief ACP Mohd Zaid Hassan said that medical officers confirmed his death after they arrived.

The body was then taken to the Kajang Hospital Forensics Unit for further action.

In a statement, JPJ revealed that the man was given special attention at the office due to his age.

They also added that his body temperature was normal and he had been fully vaccinated.

The case has been classified as a sudden death

Mohd Zaid added that investigations are still being carried out.
