"Don't Be Like Najib. Be Like Wendy" - Student Returns RM1.6K Mistakenly Banked In To Her
Najib admitted to spending millions of ringgit banked into his personal account.

A tweet by KL-based designer Fahmi Reza has gone viral.
The tweet compared how two individuals decided to act in the face of receiving money that did not belong to them into their accounts.
At the time of writing, the tweet had been retweeted over 2,200 times, with hundreds of people subtweeting and commenting under it. Fahmi uploaded the tweet on Wednesday night, 22 January.
While one is a 26-year-old student named Wendy Lim, the other is our former prime minister Najib Razak
According to the articles linked in Fahmi's tweet, Lim, who is pursuing a masters in social work in Australia, returned RM1,600 to its rightful owner who had mistakenly banked it into her account.
"I suppose at the end of the day I knew the right thing to do was to give back the money to its rightful owner and that's what I did," the student was quoted as saying by Malaysiakini.
Whereas, Najib spent the tens of millions of ringgit credited into his personal bank account, claiming that he was not aware that the money was SRC International Sdn Bhd funds.
Fahmi then asks Malaysians to "be like Wendy" and less like our former prime minister.
Yesterday, at the KL High Court, Najib admitted that while he spent millions of ringgit that were banked into his personal account, he said that he was not aware the money was actually SRC funds
According to the former prime minister, he spent every cent in his accounts as he thought it was from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds that he had, reported The Star.
The English daily's report detailed a portion of Najib's cross-examination by ad hoc prosecutor V Sithambaram, where Najib said he spent RM32 million that was credited into his accounts in 2014.
Sithambaram: RM27 million went into your account in July, you said you did not know?
Najib: Yes, I did not know that it was SRC's money, I only knew much later.
Sithambaram: But you spent every cent of it?
Najib: Yes.
Sithambaram: Did you know that RM5 million went into your account in September?
Najib: I did not know at that time.
Sithambaram: But you spent every cent of it?
Najib: Yes.
When Sithambaram again questioned Najib, asking if he was aware that a total of RM27 million was credited into his personal account in December and what did he do with the money, Najib claimed that at the time he did not know, but spent every cent as he thought "it was the CSR fund that I had".
Additionally, Malaysiakini reported that the former prime minister said that it was not shocking to him that his then principal private secretary Azlin Alias and former SRC International CEO Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil kept secret about RM32 million going in and out of his bank accounts.
