One of the attackers started attacking Mogan who was seated on the sidewalk of the pub, who then slashed the victim while his other accomplices attacked Mythurai and Allen.

"CCTV footage showed that one of the suspects attacked the victim while the others ran into the pub, which had no CCTV," ASP Stephen Genason from the Sentul IPD was quoted as saying by FMT.

According to the witnesses around the area, the assailants then got away in a single vehicle.

Police believe that the attack was triggered by a fight that broke out among a group of friends last week

Sentul police chief ACP R. Munusamy said six men fought among themselves in the club last week, resulting in their expulsion by bouncers.

The management later lodged a police report against three men who started the brawl. Two of them were arrested and charged while the other went on the run, he said.

"We believe the group returned on Wednesday to attack the management because of the police report," he said.
