Drivers Will Need To Start Paying Toll For DASH Highway Starting Today

The DASH expressway was initially open to the public for free 48 days after its launch.

Starting today, 1 December, motorists using the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH) will be charged with toll fees

In an announcement yesterday, 30 November, DASH said that the tolls affected include the Denai Alam toll plaza, RRIM toll plaza (Kwasa Damansara), and Kota Damansara plaza

Initially, the new expressway was open to the public for free for 48 days, from 14 October to 30 November, after its officiation on 13 October, as reported by mSTAR.

The DASH expressway is one of six highways under the management of Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas), a major highway operator in Klang Valley.

The toll collection will be fully electronic, using only Touch 'N Go, RFID, and SmartTag

"Motorists are highly encouraged to ensure that their Touch 'N Go and e-wallet balance is sufficient before entering DASH expressway," DASH said in the statement.

The toll rate details are as below:

  1. Cars - RM2.30
  2. Lorries - RM4.60
  3. Trailers - RM6.90
  4. Taxi - RM1.20
  5. Bus - RM2.30
