Convicted Murderer Suspected Of Killing Another Woman After Being Freed For Good Behaviour
He was sentenced to life after he was found guilty of killing five women in 2005.

This is Somkid Pumpuang, a 55-year-old Thai serial killer who was sentenced to life for killing at least five women in 2005
The native of the southern province of Trang, located on the west side of the Malay Peninsula, was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of five women at hotels in Mukdahan, Lampang, Trang, Udon Thani, and Buri Ram provinces in 2005.
He was then sentenced to life imprisonment by the Appeal Court in August 2012, reported Bangkok Post.
Somkid was released from prison in May this year after a royal pardon
He was let free on 17 May 2019 after serving 14 years for the murders he committed.
According to Thailand's Department of Corrections, the 55-year-old was deemed a "model prisoner".
Khaosod English reports the pardons are signed by His Majesty the King, which are symbolic of the constitutional monarchy's power as it's the prison officials who decide on which inmates are to be released.
Six months after his release, he is suspected to have killed again
Somkid's latest victim is 51-year-old Rasmee Mulichan, whom he allegedly murdered at the victim's house in Khon Kaen province on Sunday, 15 December before fleeing the scene, Chiang Rai Times reported.
The victim, who worked as a hotel maid in northeastern Thailand, was found dead in her house with tape around her neck and her ankles were tied together with a mobile phone charging cable.
Now, a warrant has been issued for Somkid's arrest, with the Crime Suppression Division describing him as a very "dangerous man"
Police Colonel Khajonrit Wongrat, chief of Kranuan police station, said that Khon Kaen police office and Provincial Police Region 4 are looking for clues to the whereabouts of the suspect.
Meanwhile, at a press conference on Monday, 16 December, Corrections Department director-general Police Colonel Narat Savettanan, said that "it was a mistake to release him".
According to Col Narat, they are also urgently reviewing the sentence reduction policies.
