Car Drivers Caught On Video Using A Motorcycle Lane Claim Waze Made Them Do It
The incident was caught on mobile footage by motorcyclists.

Drivers of a Toyota Vios and a Perodua Bezza, who were caught on video driving in a lane reserved for motorcycles along the Federal Highway, blamed Waze for directing them into "a small alley"
According to Petaling Jaya police chief ACP Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal, both drivers, who are aged 33, claimed that they had used Waze which had instructed them to enter a small lane.
"Both drivers only realised that they had entered the motorcycle lane after they were alerted by other motorcyclists," Nik Ezanee was quoted as saying in a statement today, 3 September.
The case is being investigated under Section 79(2) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for neglecting traffic directions and signs. The drivers face a fine of RM2,000 or maximum six months' jail, or both if found guilty.

The video, which showed the two cars heading from Kuala Lumpur to Klang, went viral.
Following which, police managed to track down the car drivers last night, 2 September, and revealed that while the Toyota Vios driver was a man, the Perodua Bezza driver was a woman.
Both the drivers were later directed back to the main road by the motorcyclists.
