#Budget2021: Frontliners Will Get One-Off RM500 Bonus For Fighting COVID-19

The one-off payment is part of the RM1 billion allocation to the Ministry of Health for battling the pandemic.

All Ministry of Health (MOH) frontliners will be receiving an additional one-off RM500 payment as a sign of appreciation for their hard work in battling the COVID-19 pandemic this year

The announcement was made by Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Aziz at the tabling of Budget 2021 today, 6 November.

The one-off payment is part of the RM1 billion allocation to the MOH for fighting the virus

Among other measures, RM475 million will be assigned to the purchasing of testing reagents, screening kits, and for use at all MOH laboratories.

RM318 million will also be allocated to the preparation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hand sanitiser for all frontliners.
