#Budget2019: Civil Servants Will Receive RM500 Bonus By The End Of This Year

Government pensioners will also receive RM250 by December 2018.

Civil servants of Grade 54 and below will receive a one-off payment of RM500 by the end of this year, announced Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng at Dewan Rakyat today, 2 November

Government retirees will also receive RM250 by December 2018

Lim said that the government is concerned for retired civil servants, especially those whose pension is below RM1,000 a month.

Over RM1 billion has been allocated for this payment, he added during the Budget 2019 announcement today.
