Bodies Of A Member Of GOF And A Security Guard Found Shot Dead

On Sunday, a member of the police General Operations Force (GOF) and a security guard were found shot dead at the Taman Casa Uno construction site
The bodies were seen near the main gate of the construction site in Batu 4 Jalan Utara Bypass, and the public alerted the police before a report was lodged about 11.30am.

The body of the GOF member was clad in civilian clothes while the guard, believed to be a Filipino immigrant, was from the construction site
Sandakan police deputy chief Supt Fadzil Mohd Ali said a police team found a gun in the vicinity where the bodies were found
"We are waiting for confirmation on the identities of the deceased," he said, adding the bodies were sent to the Duchess of Kent Hospital in Sandakan.
