BBC News Were Left Red Faced After They Marked The Chinese New Year Celebrations With A Highly Embarrassing Subtitle Error
Instead of welcoming in the year of the horse, a subtitle error saw the BBC usher in the ‘year of the whores’.

Millions of people are celebrating Chinese New Year this weekend, with 2014 being the Year of the Horse.
But it seems something was lost in translation at Broadcasting House, as the the embarrassing subtitle flashed up during a news item about the celebrations.
