Tropicana Employee With No Symptoms Tests Positive For COVID-19

The headquarters at Tropicana Gardens is temporarily closed following the announcement.

An employee working at Tropicana Corporation Berhad's headquarters at Tropicana Gardens has tested positive for COVID-19

On Wednesday, 14 October, the Group announced that Tropicana headquarters is temporarily closed as it undergoes disinfecting and sanitising processes.

Tropicana assured that they are taking all necessary precautions by maintaining high levels of cleanliness throughout the premises.

The affected employee is asymptomatic (did not exhibit any symptoms) and is currently receiving treatment from a government hospital

The statement added that the "affected employee is an isolated case and is not an employee of Tropicana Golf and Country Resort nor is he affiliated to the hostel".

In the meantime, arrangements have been made for all close contacts with the affected employee to be tested and self-quarantined.
