Agong Grants Anwar Audience On 13 October

The 16th Leader of the Opposition, Anwar Ibrahim, has been granted an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on 13 October
At the meeting on 13 October, Anwar said he will present documentation of the "strong and convincing majority" of the Members of Parliament (MPs) that he had mentioned in September.
In the meantime, Anwar, who is also the leader of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) opposition coalition, asked Malaysians to "remain calm"
"I ask all Malaysians to remain calm, protect their health, and continue to pray from their homes and workplaces and follow the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) procedures," he said in a statement.
Last month, he claimed that he has "convincing" support from Malay and Muslim MPs to form a new federal government
Back then, on 23 September, Anwar stated that he was granted an audience to meet Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at 11am on 22 September.
The meeting was, however, postponed due to the Agong falling ill.
Anwar had said that the government led by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has fallen.
Following which, UMNO president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi admitted that he has failed to stop his party and coalition members from supporting Anwar.
"UMNO and Barisan Nasional (BN) cannot stop MPs who have chosen to support Anwar, who wishes to be granted an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong," theSundaily quoted Zahid as saying.
In response to the political manoeuvring, Prime Minister Muhyiddin had urged the public to reject politicians who were trying to undermine the country's political stability, saying that he was still the PM.
