An Adorable Dog Was Found Floating 220KM Away From Shore In The Gulf Of Thailand
No one knows how it got there.

A dog was recently rescued by oil rig workers after it was found stranded 220km from shore in the Gulf of Thailand
According to ABC News, oil rig workers spotted the pup on Friday, 12 April, swimming towards them and clinging for dear life onto a pole attached to the rig.
The workers immediately lowered a rope to rescue the shivering dog.
It is uncertain how the canine ended up so far from shore in the middle of the ocean
Workers believed that the dog might have fallen off a boat or escaped abuse from a fishing vessel, Bangkok Post reported.
Vitisak Payalaw, of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production's oil drilling team, explained that the "exhausted" pup was spotted with its head above the water as it swam towards the rig.
"We had to race against time as wind waves might sweep him away," Vitisak said, adding that if the waves were too strong, they would not have seen it
"I think we probably wouldn't have noticed him at all. After he made it onto the bars below the rig he didn't cry or bark at all," Vitisak said, adding that they had used a rope to tie around its body and lifted it up.
Newsflare reported that it took the team 15 minutes to rescue the pup.
The pooch recovered significantly after staff gave it food and mineral supplements
One of the oil rig workers, Khon Vitisak, plans to adopt the furry animal if no owner steps forward to claim it.
Netizens praised the rescue team after photos of the dog's rescue mission were posted by Vitisak on Facebook.
