Abducted Malaysian Cosmetic Sales Agent Rescued In Thailand

Earlier this month, cosmetic sales agent, Rosnazirah Mohd Naim, 36, was reportedly abducted at her home in Kampung Semat Jal, Wakaf Bharu, Kelantan

The victim's location was successfully tracked with the assistance and close collaboration of the Royal Thai Police and the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department, reported Berita Harian.

"The victim was found and rescued before being returned to Malaysia today," said Chief of Police, Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani, on Thursday, 29 September.

"In this case, seven Malaysian men were apprehended in Kelantan, Selangor, and Kuala Lumpur," Acryl Sani added.

The Toyota Vios used to kidnap the victim was also seized by police

"The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) expresses its deepest appreciation to the Royal Thai Police and the Malaysian Embassy in Bangkok for their help and cooperation in assisting in the rescue of the victim," said Acryl Sani.

PDRM also requested the public to share any information about illegal activities in order to combat crime and maintain public safety and order.
