A World War II Bomb Exploded At An MRT Construction Site In Bandar Malaysia
Police are investigating the explosion.

On 10 October, two workers at an MRT construction site lost their legs when a World War II-era bomb suddenly exploded
The explosion occurred at around 5pm, Tuesday, in Bandar Malaysia, during which a total of three foreign workers were severely injured, with two losing their legs.
KL Police Chief Amar Singh said:
"Investigations have determined that it was caused by an old bomb from World War II... and the bomb exploded suddenly during construction work."

Currently seeking treatment at the hospital, they are said to be in stable condition.
According to a report in The Star Online, while Amar Singh confirmed the cause of the explosion, he did not elaborate on the type of bomb.
The Fire and Rescue Department said they received a distress call at 5.23pm and arrived on scene at 5.33pm
According to a source at the Fire and Rescue Department, who was quoted by Bernama, 25 personnel and five vehicles were scrambled in response to the incident.
Meanwhile, police are continuing their investigations into the explosion.
