Malaysian Man Who Hid Drugs In His Rectum Faces Mandatory Death Penalty In Bali
He had nearly 91g of crystal meth in his rectum.

On 11 March, a 23-year-old Malaysian man was arrested at the Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali along with his two Indonesian friends upon arrival from Bangkok
The Nation reported that the trio looked suspicious to authorities as they were going through security check at the airport's international terminal.
Ngurah Rai Customs and Excise office head Himawan Indarjono was quoted by The Nation as saying that X-ray scanning revealed "suspicious things" in their bodies and belongings.
The Malaysian man and his Indonesian friends were then taken to the customs and excise room to be body-searched
According to Himawan, customs officers found three packets of methamphetamine, weighing 90.71g in total, hidden in the rectum of the Malaysian man.
Another 36.2g of the drug was also found in his bag.
The two Indonesians also hid packets of methamphetamine in their rectums, weighing nearly 305g
One of them hid four packets of meth in his rectum, which weighed 165.57g.
Another suspect hid two packets in her rectum and two in her vagina, totalling 140g of the drug.
The trio are now at risk of facing drug charges, which carries a compulsory death penalty in Indonesia once convicted
According to ABC News, 18 people who were convicted of drug smuggling have been executed since President Joko Widodo came into power. Most of them were foreigners.
Previously, The Jakarta Post reported Indonesian Police Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian as saying that capital punishment is an effective way to curb drug dealing.
"We see that when we shoot at drug dealers they go away," he said, in reference to the drug war initiated by Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.
