Oil Tanker Driver Burnt To Death After A Collision Involving 3 Vehicles Near Slim River
The drivers of two other vehicles escaped unhurt.

Earlier this morning, near the Behrang rest and service area, driver of an oil tanker was burnt to death after an accident involving three heavy vehicles resulted in two of the vehicles bursting into flames
While drivers of the lorry and trailer managed to escape unhurt in the fiery crash, the tanker driver was killed on the spot near Slim River.
The incident occurred at KM372 of the North-South (PLUS) Expressway at 9am.
The accident caused three kilometre-long traffic congestion as firemen had to cordon off the area to put out the fire, according to NST Online.

The accident involved the tanker, a trailer and a lorry, according to the Star Online, which reported Muallim OCPD Supt Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof as saying.
An initial investigation by police found that a trailer driver stopped his vehicle at the emergency lane after encountering problems with the brakes. Following which, a lorry driver stopped to help the trailer driver.
"After finishing with the checks, as the driver got back into his lorry to continue his journey when he saw a tanker in the middle lane heading towards his lorry.
"The tanker hit the back of the lorry, which caused the lorry to hit the back of the trailer parked in front. The impact of the crash caused the tanker and the lorry to burst into flames and killing the tanker driver," the Muallim District Police chief added.
So far, the tanker driver's identity is yet to be revealed. He is believed to have been working for a company in Sungai Buloh.
