A Brave Mum Dies After Throwing Her Children Out Of Apartment Window To Escape Fire
A video shows the woman tossing out blankets and sheets for the crowd below to catch her children in.

A mother dies shortly after saving her two children from a fire in their home in central China last week
The mum, her three-year-old daughter, and nine-year-old son were trapped on the fifth floor of their apartment building in Xuchang, Henan province, when fire broke out on 3 August, reported New York Post.
A video clip that has since gone viral on social media showed thick smoke rising out of their window as the family screamed for help from the public below
As firefighters were said to have been on their way, one onlooker yelled, "Wait two more minutes! Help is coming," reported NextShark.
Unsure of how long her family could hold on for, the mother decided to toss blankets and sheets to the crowd below who quickly made-shift a cushion landing
In a few heart-gripping moments that followed, she was then seen dropping her children one-by-one out of the window from the fifth floor
Bystanders were heard screaming in the background as her children landed safely into the makeshift net.
The video ends with firefighters arriving at the scene, who reportedly pulled the woman from the burning flat, and rushed the family to the hospital.
The two children sustained only minor injuries. Unfortunately, the mother died from inhaling too much smoke and could not be resuscitated.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
