A Boeing 737 Plane Carrying 176 People Crashed In Iran
According to Iran's state television, there are "no survivors".

Earlier today, 8 January, a Ukrainian airliner carrying 176 passengers and crew memebers crashed near Tehran's Imam Khomeini airport in Iran
It crashed shortly after take-off, with CNBC reporting via Iran's Fars News Agency saying it "crashed due to technical problems"
The plane, PS752, was just three years into service after it was delivered new to Ukraine International Airlines in 2016
According to FlightRadar24, the PS752 was operated by a 737-800 registered UR-PSR.
CNBC clarified that the 737-800 is a type of Boeing 737 that came before the 737 Max, the type that regulators grounded in March last year after two fatal crashes in a span of five months.

There are no survivors, reported Iran's state television
Al jazeera reported Iran's Red Crescent saying that there was no chance of finding survivors, with images posted on social media indicating that there were no survivors.
"An investigation team from the national aviation department was dispatched to the location after the news was announced. We will give more reports in upcoming bulletins," Reza Jafarzadeh, spokesman of the Iranian Aviation Organisation was quoted saying by Al jazeera.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the passenger plane crashed hours after Iran launched a retaliatory attack on two US bases in Iraq.
