Malaysia Records 217 New COVID-19 Cases As Cumulative Total Rises To 3,333

There are a total of 53 coronavirus-related deaths in the country.

Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah just announced that there are 217 new COVID-19 cases today, 3 April

During the press conference announcing the daily COVID-19 updates, he said that this brings the number of cases in Malaysia to a total of 3,333.

The nation recorded three new deaths, bringing the total of coronavirus-related deaths in the country to 53

108 patients are currently receiving treatment in Intensive Care Units (ICU) around the nation and 54 of them require breathing assistance.

Meanwhile, there has been a steady number of people recovering from the disease each day

60 people have fully recovered within the past day. This amounts to a total of 827 patients discharged from hospitals since the disease was first identified in Malaysia.
