5. Village Park @ Damansara Uptown, PJ

Are you even Malaysian if you've not heard of Village Park? This restaurant is no stranger in the nasi lemak scene. The OG of all nasi lemak, Village Park has been operating since 2002 and is still regarded as one of the best nasi lemak spots after 20 years.

Their customers include VIPs, politicians, and celebrities such as Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Dato Lee Chong Wei, Little Miss Khan, and even internationally-renowned Malaysian comedian, Uncle Roger. This nasi lemak spot that went viral on TikTok first began as a flood relief initiative by influencer Rozeeta Abdul Manan, in an effort to help her neighbours who were affected by the floods in Setia Alam back in 2021.

Today, Rozeeta is continuing this legacy as a business, pairing her nasi lemak with unique and irresistible crunchy delights such as fried chicken skin, fried soft shell crab, and fried sotong. Her signature mouthwatering, spicy sambal is also to die for.
