Among the strawberry farms, tea plantations, and scones, two friendly yellow arches will soon greet you in Cameron Highlands.

Their very own McDonald's outlet is opening!

Yesterday, 17 February, Penang Kini shared photos of a McDonald's outlet being built in Brinchang

Imagine a hot cup of coffee or teh tarik and fries in cooler weather. Perfect.

The outlet appears to be a drive-thru too

So if you're on holiday, tapauing and heading back to your hotel or Airbnb is easier. (Of course, once things settle down and we're allowed to travel again.)

Excited Malaysians are looking forward to it and are suggesting interesting menu additions to match the Highlands

One person commented, "Strawberry sundaes will definitely not run out." While others cheekily wrote that Mekdi may soon release strawberry burgers and ayam goreng.
