Hilton KL is celebrating the holy month and inviting everyone to buka puasa together with their Merentasi Tradisi, Sajian Dulu dan Kini Ramadan buffet

Seamlessly bridging the gap between age-old traditional recipes and contemporary, trending culinary creations, the Ramadan buffet will be running until 9 April at Vasco's in Hilton KL.

Not only does this make sure you get freshly-cooked, piping hot meals to sate your hunger, it also serves as a strategic measure to minimise food wastage.

Vasco's Ramadan buffet has something for everyone — from classics like Rendang Pedas Ayam Kampung and Sup Gear Box Air Tangan Chef Jamsari to contemporary creations such as Roti John & Murtabak Wagyu and Kambing Golek Berempah Morroco.

In line with Hilton KL's Green Ramadan initiative, Vasco's is taking various measures to make their buffet a sustainable one

The Ramadan buffet features 70% locally sourced ingredients, and will minimise single-use plastic throughout the production and buffet line. They have also implemented the Winnow system to measure and manage food waste.

Vasco's chefs will be faithfully recording daily data into LightStay, a system developed to calculate and analyse sustainability performance throughout Hilton KL's operations.

Additionally, Vision Waste Disposal Sdn Bhd will ensure that all biodegradable waste is collected and produced into biogas to generate renewable energy.

Merentasi Tradisi, Sajian Dulu dan Kini is not just the name of Vasco's Ramadan buffet, but also the name of Hilton KL's overall Ramadan campaign

Designed to foster a sense of unity and connection across generations, and with a strong Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitment, the campaign celebrates the diverse culinary traditions within the community while being kind to the environment.

Hilton KL proritises sustainable practices throughout hotel operations to ensure that waste is minimised, and actively seeks eco-friendly solutions to contribute to a healthier planet and community.

The Ramadan buffet at Vasco's is available daily from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, for RM258 nett per adult and RM128 nett per child
