While many view Cyberjaya as a hub for technology and multimedia centres, the cafe scene is climbing to become one of the most popular in Sepang

Though this city was once dubbed the Silicon Valley of Malaysia, its frigid and icy background has certainly evolved to become one of the thriving communities within the Klang Valley for active and demanding lifestyles.

Besides becoming one of the more viable places for residence in modern day Malaysia, the accompaniment of an array of food and beverage facilities have also made the town popular among non-residential visitors that are looking for the next booming cafe.

Without further ado, here are 13 cafes within the Cyberjaya region you need to check out the next time you visit the science core of Selangor.

1. Glaze Eatery

Rustic and quaint, Glaze Eatery is easily rising to become one of the most creative and unique cafes in Sepang. Serving up a variety of dishes, walk into this hidden wonderland and dine in their brick sanctuary.

With cool features like the added accents of greenery and strategically arranged lighting fixtures, this cafe would be a great pit-stop for Instagram photos and delicious food in the afternoon, or at night.

2. Alcea Coffee

A coffee roaster named after the Alcea flower, think of any coffee under the sun and it's likely that Alcea Coffee has it on their menu. Known for their assortment of brews, catch a seat at their open coffee bar and watch the brewed and filtered systems create the smoothest coffee from the most bitter beans.

But don't just stop there, they're also known for their big breakfast sets with all the fixes you can imagine: eggs on toast, crunchy salads, and even the classic oat pancakes with maple syrup.

3. Cubee Cafe

If you're not looking for a full meal, there are even a variety of pastries such as brownies, croissants, and chocolate rolls for RM10 or less.

4. Tiger and Prawn

Calling all hipsters, Tiger and Prawn is likely to be your latest cafe craze after this moment.

Stylistic and contemporary, the modern and sophisticated layout of this eatery still manages to maintain some classic elements without making it clash. From the red leather patterned seats indoors to a pastoral theme outdoors, they serve up a variety of meaty and seafood based dishes.

Oh, and there's also a giant whale painting on one of the walls!

5. 10 Gram Gourmet

While the food at 10 Gram isn't necessarily much different from your typical brunch or cafe food, the style and intricacies used to construct a dish certainly lives up to the gourmet aesthetic the establishment has built as their trademark. 

No matter what you're in the mood for, 10 Gram has it covered. From pastas to pizzas, salads to burgers, pancakes to nasi lemak, there's even grilled Mediterranean fish.

6. GOFFEE

7. The Tepen

The Tepen has a way of transporting you back to simpler Malaysian times while elevating their flavours to modernise our local favourites. Just around the corner of Persiaran Multimedia, they've even got fusion western cuisines that'll make your mouth water.

From ketupat, an array of rendangs, and everything in between, save some space in your tummy for their signature desserts, especially their different types of crepe cakes.

8. Herbs & Butter

Tucked in the corners of Tamarind Square comes this cosy, yet vibrant cafe called Herbs & Butter. Entering inside, the vernacular wood flooring and comfortable seating arrangements will whisk you away from your hectic lives for a delightful afternoon of calmness.

With a wide range of food on their menu, go for a pasta, burger, or salad. If you're seeking out something closer to home, their Nasi Daging and Butter Tiger Prawns are a must-order at this establishment.

9. Monjo Coffee

A shake shack with retro feels for days, Monjo Coffee gives you Johnny Rockets vibes, or the diner straight out of the 1978 movie, Grease! Oscillating between black and white features, dashes of red can be found to bring out some colour in this evocative restaurant.

With a stellar big breakfast menu, elusive coffee lists, and a mixture of creative cold drinks, this would also be a great cafe option for families with little children.

One of the more luxurious cafes on this list, Kaysha Dine & Beauty is one of the best cafe spots in Cyberjaya if you're looking to dine in a scene of elegance and lush comfort. From the velvet seating to intrinsically creative architecture, the diversity of this cafe would also make a great dinner spot.

One of the more unique cafes on this list, converge with your loved ones at WePlayGames for some delicious food and a friendly board game fiesta. Tenang Is Good! No literally, that's the name of the cafe. TIG Cafe is rather unassuming on the outside. Simple and practical, the decorative features maintain an unpretentious and down-to-earth feel so you can relax and kickback.

What elevates this cafe to land a spot on the list however, are the bursting of flavours through the many delicious local eats they serve up. From Roti Kaya to Tom Yum Nam Khon, the dishes served here are next to none in comparison to some other cafes in the Klang Valley.
