Work can often be a really fun place once we find those whom we share common interests with.

But is there such a thing as getting a little too comfortable with a co-worker?

A recent confession made to the Malaysian Twitter page, @ConfessTweetMY, saw a woman express her fondness over one of her colleagues — that may be a cause for greater concern.

Speaking on numerous characteristics relating to his personality and physical appearance, the woman describes how her 'friendship' with her co-worker has grown over time.

However, she doesn't hold back in iterating her purest emotions felt towards the guy — more specifically how she has a full blown crush on him. The kicker to the whole situation? They're both married.

Diving straight into her current dilemma, the unnamed confessor states that she has fallen hard for one of her male colleagues

Complimenting him in numerous aspects, she describes how attractive he is in multiple ways. "He's soft-spoken, smart, and impeccably handsome!"

While he sounded like the perfect catch, the confessor iterates how he is a married man. Things get spicier, however, when she mentions that she is unable to move on from her affection towards him.

"The more I try to forget about him, the more I miss him. Now we're in the same department, and he loves to ask me if I've eaten already, if I'm feeling well, and tells me to go and take a nap in the prayer hall if I'm feeling tired," she wrote.

Gushing over him, the confessor expresses how she is taken by his caring demeanour. "Even my husband doesn't ask me those questions at home."

Explaining their close relationship, the confessor mentions how she takes active steps to hang out with him whenever she can.

"Sometimes, I simply wait around in the pantry so we can eat together. He even talks about his small baby at home, and shows me pictures on his phone."

Ending her story, the confessor states how lucky his wife is to get a husband like him.

Responding to the confession, multiple Twitter users shared their take on the woman's crush — most of whom criticised her for having such feelings for a married man

Flooded with a plethora of harsh comments, many people told the confessor that she needs to get a grip, and not try to pursue or engage in her romantic emotions with a married man.

"How old are you? Why did you get married? Just because someone told you to go and sleep in a prayer room, you catch feelings? You are someone's wife. He is a friendly man, don't you have any sense to distance yourself from him? Waiting for him, trying to do immoral things?" wrote one person.

Others tried to tell the confessor that her co-workers' questions are merely to make conversation and to be friendly — advising her not to fall for someone just because they're trying to maintain a civil work environment.

"Him asking you if you ate is normal conversation. This man must be really good looking, cause no one would fall for someone who asks such normal things."

Speaking on the man's family life, one Twitter user said that the man clearly loves his family, and that the confessor should not get any ideas in her head.

"If he's talking about his child, showing you photos of his baby, you need to understand that he's telling you about his family because he loves them. You don't need to flounder around and get too close with him," they wrote.

Giving a different perspective, a few users opined that the confessor's co-worker holds some blame for her developing feelings for him, too.

"Normally, when a man cares too much about other people, his own wife doesn't check on him and his emotions," said one user, seemingly taking a dig at both the confessor and the co-worker.

"Your own man doesn't ask you those questions because he's asking another woman, instead. Just like your colleague," sharply wrote another.

Nonetheless, one of the most fruitful comments of the bunch came from a user who cautioned the confessor on knowing her circle and limitations, since she herself is married.

"Once you have a partner, don't overdo it. When you start caring for them, things like this are bound to happen. Then, cases of cheating will happen. If all the parties involved already have a partner, just avoid hanging out together," they penned.
