1. Kawagoe, Japan

Located in Little Edo, many often feel like they've travelled back in time when visiting this store.

There is even a garden and patio so customers can enjoy the greenery while sipping on their coffee.

In order to better fit in with its surrounding, this store has opted to use a more dim brown shade for its logo.

2. Paris, France

Have you ever seen a Starbucks store with a chandelier? This store has multiple.

Everything down to the intricate painting on the ceiling and the gold leaf designs were part of the original building completed in the 17th century.

A few years ago, Starbucks decided to refurbish the old building to bring out the original colours and designs, in doing so making this one of the most elegant Starbucks in the world.

What makes this location unique is that it is located inside a dome! The dove decoration hanging from the centre of the dome makes this outlet the most beautiful store in Korea.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot that the Starbucks logo at this store is not the typical Starbucks green, but is actually white, to blend in with the surrounding of the store.

4. Istanbul, Turkey

This Starbucks outlet overlooks the sea, making it the perfect place to watch the sunrise or sunset.

Even though Turkey is famous for having good coffee, many people actually visit this store just for the view.

This tech-savvy store is not one to be missed.

Customers can take a virtual tour of the store if they download the store's augmented reality app, powered by Alibaba. They can also collect virtual badges as they walk around the store.

According to Business Insider, the centrepiece of the store is a huge bronze coffee roaster covered with 1,000 Chinese characters annotating the history of Starbucks and coffee.

11. Bali, Indonesia

This coffee sanctuary is the largest Starbucks in Southeast Asia.

According to their website, the building is designed based on Indonesian culture. Inspired by ocean waves, the exterior surface of the building will appear like it's moving if you drive past the storefront.

This store also has its own coffee farm. According to Business Insider, if you opt to take a private tour, you can wash, dry, and rake your coffee beans.

12. Milan, Italy

Unlike other Starbucks stores that are designed with more brown earthy colours, this store is designed with bright blue and green colours, resembling Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.

This store also boasts an affogato station - the only Starbucks to have one. Ice cream is made to order, finished with liquid nitrogen and served with a shot of espresso.

According to Insider, you will not be able to get Frappucinos at this location, but instead you will be able to get drinks that are exclusive to the store.

13. Tokyo, Japan

This is the largest Starbucks store in the world. According to The Japan Times, each of the roastery's four floors is a celebration of Japanese culture.

In addition to the interior of the store being heavily decorated with hand-made sakuras, during sakura season, customers can view cherry blossoms from inside the store thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows.
