If you didn't know, Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) is a motorsport division of the well-known Japanese car manufacturer Toyota.

In August 2017, TGR made its debut on the roads of Malaysia, headlined by the exhilarating Vios Challenge Race. This highly-anticipated street racing event features a total of 28 races around Peninsular Malaysia.

Set to take place at the Sepang International Circuit from 30 September to 1 October, the third and final round of Season 6 is open to the public and is shaping up to be one of the grandest and most exciting race weekends. Motorsport fans are in for a treat as there will be an extensive lineup of activities and action both on and off the racing track.

This event reflects Toyota's unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of their vehicle on the race track to improve the quality of their cars for everyday users on the road.

The Vios Challenge Race's Season 6 finale is set to see four new crowning champions in the Rookie, Sporting, Super Sporting, and Promotional Classes

This race will feature Malaysia's top racers, rising stars, amateurs, and celebrities, battling it out in an identical race car, a modified Toyota Vios racing car. Each driver's skills will be put to the test since the only difference surrounding the race will be the driver behind the wheel.

The overall champion in the Sporting and Super Sporting Classes will walk away with RM50,000 and RM70,000 respectively. As one of the most lucrative motorsport events in the country, more than half a million ringgit in cash prizes are won throughout the Vios Challenge Race season.

That's not all. Attendees will also get the chance to see the racing debut of the all-new fourth-generation Toyota Vios in the hands of celebrity drivers in the Promotional Class!

This car will be used in all categories (except the Rookie Class) throughout Season 7 of the Vios Challenge Race next year.

Toyota has been a major force and contributor towards the development of young racing talent in Malaysia, enabling racers as young as 15 years old to race in a safe, affordable, and competitive platform to hone their skills for the future.

These young talents will start at the Rookie Class competing with their peers before moving up to compete in the Sporting Class and subsequently to the Super Sporting class to compete with the professionals.

The weekend-long festival will feature an array of activities and attractions, including a concert, meet and greet session with the racers, and more!

Plus, there will also be a Tempatan Fest happening, as well as an opportunity to bring home exclusive event and race merchandise.

During the first day, some of the artists that will be performing include hip hop singer KMY KMO, local rapper Luca Sickta, and Malaysian pop and alternative rock group OAG.

Meanwhile, on the second day, attendees will be entertained by Indonesian alternative rock band Iqbal M, followed by the main act 16 Baris featuring Joe Flizzow, MK, SonaOne, ALYPH, AbangSapau, Killa Driz, Sophia Liana, Gard, Pele, Fuego, and DJ CZA.

Mark your calendars for an action-packed finale of the Vios Challenge Race at Sepang!
