Did you know that some of the water we drink comes directly from rainforests?

If you've drunk a bottle of Spritzer Natural Mineral Water, you may have noticed the difference in the pristine taste, which is actually rich in silica and minerals.

Since the late 1980s, Spritzer has continuously manufactured and distributed natural mineral water. And over the years, the brand has produced different beverages for us to stay hydrated and refreshed.

From sparkling mineral water to natural mineral water, carbonated fruit flavoured drinks, non-carbonated fruit flavoured drinks, functional drinks and more, we definitely love quenching our thirst with Spritzer!

But... have you ever wondered how exactly Spritzer gets their fresh mineral water? Jom, let's find out!

Deep within a 220-million-year-old rainforest in Taiping, Perak, lies Spritzer's vast 330-acre site of natural mineral water sources

Sustainably sourced from the rainforest, Spritzer's pristine and natural water is rich in silica and sweet to the taste. The water is extracted from pure natural water sources as deep as 420 ft underground, which explains why it's so rich in minerals.

According to an analysis conducted by the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM), Spritzer's natural mineral water contains no microplastics, making it completely safe for consumption.

In fact, Spritzer has a team of professionals that maintain and protect the plant, to ensure that the water source continues to hold pure and clean water at all times.

Once the water is extracted, it is hygienically filtered before being transferred to Spritzer's iconic green mineral water bottle. Throughout the entire process, the team uses advanced bottling technology to ensure that each bottle of natural mineral water maintains its pristine quality.

As one of Malaysians' favourite natural mineral water, Spritzer is actually listed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the "Largest Bottled Water Producer"!

On a different note, preserving nature is also the brand's top priority

Throughout their entire production and maintenance process, Spritzer goes to great lengths to ensure they don't get in nature's way. Other than that, Spritzer Natural Mineral Water comes in 100% PET packaging, which makes it easy to recycle.

Besides that, there is another product – Acilis by Spritzer, a plant-based bottle made from up to 30% plant-based materials consisting of agricultural waste.

To further spread the importance of conserving nature, Spritzer opened their renowned EcoPark, an education site in Taiping. EcoPark aims to educate Malaysians to understand the importance of preserving nature as well as how the brand's mineral water comes from a pristine and natural source.

Since its opening in 2015, families and schoolchildren have visited the educational park and manufacturing plant to learn further about the process and environment.

We may not be able to travel interstate right now to visit their site, but fret not.

From now until 23 May, Spritzer is organising an on-ground activation in Pavilion Mall, Bukit Bintang, so you can play, learn, and discover more about Spritzer!

Spritzer's on-ground activation aims to educate Malaysians on the importance of recycling, as well as showcasing the production of their mineral water bottles, from start to end.

Overall, the event will cover three different areas, all of which make up the entire product cycle.

Plus, there will also be a photo booth, so you can take pictures with your friends and family!

Here's what you can expect when you visit their event in Pavilion Mall:

Upon stepping foot in Pavilion, you will first notice an interactive LED screen at the main entrance, which shares about the source of Spritzer Natural Mineral Water.

Dive in further to their interactive site and you will be introduced to a sampling machine, where you can redeem a free bottle of Spritzer Natural Mineral Water.

The final stage involves a Spritzer recycling machine to recycle the bottles you have consumed. What's also cool is that if you do happen to have any other recyclable materials, such as an aluminium can, you can just head over to this corner to recycle it!

Pretty cool, right? You get to quench your thirst and stay hydrated in this humid weather, as well as experience Spritzer's interactive on-ground activation!
