Argital, a Sicilian-based company which uses 100% natural and organic ingredients in their skincare products, has made its way to Malaysia.
Having opened its flagship store in 1 Utama Shopping Centre in September last year, the company prides itself as being one of the pioneers in organic skincare since 1979.
All of their preservative-free products are made with pure, botanical clay – a natural green powder from Sicily – that's rich in sea minerals, organic herbs, and other therapeutic benefits
"Argital is developed from the study of anthroposophy, which emphasises the power of nature and how it relates greatly to the human body and mind. The study of anthroposophy used in the production of Argital products is exactly what makes Argital different from other organic brands," said Sara Lee, a representative from Argital Malaysia.
Founder of Argital, Dr Giuseppe Ferraro's, aim was to make a skincare line that sources from the purest ingredients.
Sicilian Green Clay is obtained in its richest and most active form in a quarry in Sicily, Italy, and is said to produce a high moisturising effect on the skin, while promoting blood circulation for better skin renewal, and has natural anti-ageing properties. All of Argital's products include this natural green clay.
They have products for the face, scalp and hair, body, teeth, as well as for babies, and even pets.
Here are some suggestions on what you can get:
1. Argiltubo Green Clay Mask
Suitable for everyday use, this mask consists of Active Green Clay to deep cleanse and nourish the skin, Borage seed oil with high antioxidants, and Calendula extracts to soothe skin inflammation. It also contains GOLD essential oils, a specially made aroma by the founder.
2. Argital Brightening Iris Root Face Scrub
It contains Florentine Iris Root for a soft natural exfoliant, Active Green Clay to maintain moisture of the skin, and Organic Damascena rose to balance and nourish the skin, and give you a glowing complexion.
3. Argital Vegetal Brightening Cleanser
This gentle foam is made of organic coconut, sugar, and Active Green Clay to cleanse the pores, as well as balance and moisturise the skin. It also contains Phytic Acid (Rice), a natural plant with antioxidant properties that lightens and brightens skin naturally, pure Centifolia Rose essential oil to hydrate and balance, and chamomile to soothe and calm skin.
4. Argital Calming Chamomile Cream
This hypoallergenic, lightweight cream has chamomile that gives a calming effect and controls oil secretion. It also contains Yarrow that relieves the skin and Calendula that soothes inflammation. Other ingredients include Active Green Clay to hydrate, heal, and balance the skin.
