Wah, all these winners' submissions are so mesmerising. :D

As the second wave ended on 8 August, the winners from the first and second wave of the Capture 8 contest were invited for a prize-giving ceremony.

Held at The International Gallery, KLGCC Resort, the winners proudly took the stage to accept their prizes, from RM200 GrabGift Vouchers to Canon DSLR cameras, wahhh.

During the ceremony, the winners received their prizes and took photographs with Appollo Leong, Sime Darby Property’s Chief Operating Officer for Township Development (left), Datuk Ir. Mohd Idris Abdullah, Chief Operating Officer for Integrated Development (middle), as well as Hunter Zhang Hongtu, Canon Malaysia’s Director of Imaging Communication Business (middle), and Sandy Lee, Head of Consumer System Product Division (right).

BTW, did you guys know that the third wave is currently open for submissions already? :O

Mmhmm, you only have until 7 October to send in your submissions, so grab your cameras and get those snapshots before it's too late!

For this round, you'll have to unleash your inner photographer and take beautiful pictures of Serenia City and Subang Jaya City Centre (SJCC), which are built on three pillars: Leisure, Culture, and Nature.

Here's a closer look at these townships:

SJCC

SJCC is the new city centre of the Subang Jaya township. Housing over 700k residents in Malaysia, this dynamic township has easy access to major highways, such as the Federal Highway, NKVE Highway, ELITE Highway, KESAS Highway, LDP Highway, and NPE Highway.

Its strategic location makes it super convenient, with established amenities, shopping outlets, and an integrated transportation hub.

Here's what you should know before snapping photos of this township:

From a Leisure standpoint, you gotta showcase SJCC's fun, edgy, and trendy offerings.

As for Culture, you'll need to showcase the thriving community in the new heart of the Subang Jaya township, and the ways they transform their neighbourhood in a creative and fun manner.

Also, for Nature, you should capture how SJCC is making living among greenery cool and sustainable.

Serenia City

Meticulously master-planned, Serenia City is a well-connected township with a sustainable community. Be it for family, work, learning, or enjoying the beauty of nature, this township is where your dreams and aspirations take flight. It comprises three precincts — Aman Serenia (residential), Citra Serenia (commercial), and Cipta Serenia (light industrial).

While being highly accessible via multiple highways such as the ELITE Highway, FT29, and PLUS Highway, the township is close to Salak Tinggi ERL Station, which means you have easy access to KL Sentral. Plus, most of its surrounding amenities are all within a 15-km radius, such as retail, healthcare, leisure, and education.

Here's what you should know before snapping photos of this township:

Try to showcase Serenia City as an upcoming sustainable township that promotes a perfect balance of tranquillity and livelihood for the Leisure aspect.

Capturing Serenia City's Culture can be done by showing examples of the permaculture-driven community, where growing one's food source and self-sufficiency is the norm. FYI, the term permaculture is derived from the word permanent and agriculture, which refers to the development of agricultural ecosystems intended to be sustainable and self-sufficient for the long term.

Last but not least, for the Nature category, you'll need to show examples of regeneration and preservation of nature through permaculture initiatives.

After you've captured your picture-perfect photographs, all you gotta do is follow the steps listed below to join the contest, and you'll be all set!
