Seoul Transit Pass With Unlimited Rides For Tourists Will Be Available From July Onwards
It'll be more cost-efficient than the previous cash-only daily pass.

A transit pass with unlimited rides on subways and bus fares will soon be available to foreigners who visit Seoul
Travellers will be able to purchase a short-term Climate Card that offers unlimited rides on subways and buses throughout the city.
This is a great option for visitors who plan on doing a lot of sightseeing and exploring different areas of Seoul.
The Climate Card, available starting July, will come in various durations, including one-day, two-day, three-day, five-day, and even a seven-day pass
Prices are expected to be very reasonable. A day pass is estimated to cost 5,000 won (RM17), a two-day pass 8,000 won (RM27), a three-day pass 10,000 won (RM34), and five-day and seven-day passes 15,000 won (RM52) each.
An additional 3,000 won (RM10) will be charged for the physical card.
The Korea Herald reported that this is meant to be a more cost-effective option compared to the cash-only daily pass, which is priced at 15,000 won (RM52) for one day, including a 5,000 won (RM17) deposit with a 500 won (RM2) service fee.
City officials stated that the pass was a hassle for tourists, who needed to purchase it with cash and retrieve their deposit from ticket vending machines at subway stations.
The new short-term pass will feature designs inspired by the city's mascots and characters, and offer discounts on attractions like Seoul Science Center and Seoul Grand Park
According to Korea JoongAng Daily, foreign tourists can purchase physical cards at information centres along subway lines one through eight, Seoul Tourism Plaza, Myeong-dong Tourist Information Center in central Seoul, and convenience stores near subway stations.
Currently, the Climate Card costs 65,000 won (RM224) per month, providing unlimited access to buses, subways, and public bicycles within the city.
Seoul plans to expand the card's services to integrate a water bus service along the Han River, called the Hangang River Bus, in October.
