Get ready to scream, shiver, and face your worst nightmares as Sunway Lagoon's iconic Nights of Fright event returns bigger, better, and scarier than ever for its 10th anniversary!
Since its inception in 2013, the event has evolved to become a fully immersive Halloween experience, complete with over 250 live scare actors, interactive horror zones, and nightmarish haunted houses.
Here's a lil recap on Nights of Fright's past nine years of horrifying thrills:
- Nights of Fright 1 (2013): The event's debut featured classic haunted houses and the first scare zones
- Nights of Fright 2 (2014): A dive into the dark underworld with a creepy circus theme that gave guests a taste of sinister clowns
- Nights of Fright 3 (2015): Expanded with even more interactive attractions, including a haunted hotel that had guests screaming from the get-go
- Nights of Fright 4 (2016): Local folklore took the spotlight with pontianak and toyol haunting the grounds
- Nights of Fright 5 (2017): Guests faced terror from multiple cultures, including a house of Chinese vampires
- Nights of Fright 6 (2018): Brought international scares with themed haunted houses based on Hollywood classics like Annabelle
- Nights of Fright 7 (2019): Zombies reigned supreme with an expanded Zombie Apocalypse zone
- Nights of Fright 8 (2022): Returning after a pandemic break, NOF 8 delivered a mixture of past favourites and new nightmares, and included a new and expanded, fully immersive Scarytales Theater
- Nights of Fright 9 (2023): Upped the ante with interactive scare zones and terrifying live shows that kept guests on the edge of their seats
For their milestone 10th year, Nights of Fright is pulling out all the stops to deliver something truly extraordinary
"We are not just looking back at the scares that have defined us, but we are also introducing new, heart-pounding attractions that will keep guests trembling throughout the night.
"From the spine-chilling haunted houses to the eerie scare zones and the exciting new partnerships, we are taking the horror experience to the next level. Adding to this, Lynton V Harris, Chief Executive Officer and Global Creative Director of Sudden Impact! Entertainment Company, shared his excitement, saying, "This year's event is particularly special as we're not only celebrating a decade of fear but also introducing new elements that have never been seen before.
"From international IPs like Silent Hill to the local myth of the Karak Highway, we're combining live action hantu with timeless horror themes to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience that's sure to haunt our guests long after they leave."
Nights of Fright 10 is taking the horror experience global with internationally renowned, spine-chilling characters and storylines from around the world, adding a whole new dimension of terror
First up is the terrifying Bone Man from China, a haunting figure steeped in ancient mythology and folklore.
The eerie, ghost-like skeletal entity is said to roam the afterlife, gathering the souls of those who dare to cross his path. Watch out for him as you navigate through his realm, facing traps, haunted relics, and spine-chilling encounters along the way.
Then, there's the world of Alice in Wonderland, but not as you know it. Having gone through a disturbing twist, nothing is as it seems in this nightmare-filled wonderland.
Experience the horrors in mind-bending UV3D as you wander through dark corridors and twisted landscapes, exploring a realm where childhood dreams turn into terror-filled nightmares.

And last but not least, enter the world of Silent Hill — the legendary horror franchise from the US that's known for its psychological horror.
The town has transformed into a nightmarish world, surrounded by a potent darkness and inhabited by inhuman monsters, including the fearsome Pyramid Head and a group of disfigured nurses.

Nights Of Fright 10 will be running from 20 September to 31 October, every Friday to Sunday, 7.30pm to 11.30pm at Sunway Lagoon.
