To determine the genuine condition of automobiles, each car goes through a physical inspection process spanning 30 minutes. There are two parts to this 180-point examination — the physical inspection that includes a test drive, and a test to acquire data from electrical components and sensors.

The inspector will keep an eye out for damage to the structure, evidence of water or flood damage, modifications, etc. After that, up to 20 photographs of the car will be taken by the MUV inspector.
