Looking to further your studies? Monash University Malaysia is hosting its open day on 14 June — the perfect opportunity for you to tour the campus, discover available courses, and get your questions answered.
With the theme 'Be The One', Monash University Malaysia invites aspiring changemakers to explore its wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, connect with academic experts, and discover student-led showcases across various disciplines.
Ranked 37th globally in the QS World University Rankings 2025, Monash offers a world-class education and internationally recognised qualifications, equipping graduates for global opportunities and success.
Monash 'Be The One' Open Day
Date: 14 June 2025 (Saturday)
Time: 10am to 4pm
Venue: Monash University Malaysia, Sunway City Campus
For starters, the open day will include a comprehensive 'Postgraduate Discovery Day' for students looking to get their master's or doctoral degree
Taking place at Basement Level, Building 6, prospective students can enquire about various master's and doctoral programmes throughout the day.
A key highlight is the forum session kicking off at 12pm, which covers the topic of 'Converging Worlds: Business, Data and AI in a Global Economy', giving participants an insight into the future of working in a data-driven world.
There will also be individual programme briefings throughout the day.
Monash's Open Day will also give you a preview of its undergraduate courses, including the all-new Diploma of Business
During the open day, you'll get a firsthand experience touring the campus, facilities, labs, and lecture halls that may soon become your "second home".
For those still figuring out what to study, this is your chance to discover all the available courses offered by Monash. From business and computer science, to medicine and engineering, there is something for everyone.
And for those who already have their education pathway mapped out, make the most out of the open day by hearing from actual lecturers and students.
Don't miss out on special student showcases, which will give you insight into what it's like studying at Monash (as well as what you could achieve).
If you're keen on registering on the spot, remember to bring these softcopy documents on a USB:
- A copy of your Malaysian identification card/a certified copy of your passport
- A copy of Year 11 qualification (SPM/O Level or equivalent)
- A copy of Year 12 qualification (A Level/CPU/SAM/IBDP/UEC or equivalent)
- A copy of Tertiary Education (Diploma/Higher Diploma/Degree and subject syllabus), if applicable
- Proof of English proficiency
Another key highlight is learning about the scholarships and financial aid that are available to you
Monash offers a wide range of scholarships to support students, particularly those facing financial challenges. These include merit scholarships, equity scholarships, sports scholarships, bursaries, and other forms of student loans, financial support, as well as fee waivers.
At the open day, speak to a counsellor to find out which scholarships and financial support options you may be eligible for.
