Ever wondered if the water you’re drinking at home is really clean?

Malaysians generally don't drink water directly from the tap. Even though most of our water is treated, our waters can taste rusty due to old pipes and water tanks. That's why most Malaysians opt for water filters or purifiers at home.

To provide the most hygienic water, there's been a growing trend in Korea for tankless water purifiers. We recently headed over to Seoul to check out what the hype was all about.

The good news, these exact same water purifiers from LG that have made a wave in Korea are making their way to Malaysia really, really soon!

Here's everything we loved about this water purifier:

1. Since it's tankless, you get fresh tasting water every single time

If you've ever felt like your water tasted stale or a little off, it may be because it was sitting in the tank of your water purifier for too long. LG's PuriCare Tankless water purifier, on the other hand, filters the water straight from the pipe into your cup. This means you'll get fresh tasting water every single time!

2. It has the most comprehensive filter we'd ever seen, which means super clean drinking water

LG has come up with an advanced filter that can eliminate up to seven types of heavy metals from your water. There's also a UV sterilization function that sanitizes the tap every hour. All this is to say that you can rest assured that the water you're drinking is safe, clean, and better tasting!

3. You get to tap the cool display panel to choose the perfect temperature and amount of water you want

This was probably our favourite feature of the LG PuriCare Tankless water purifier. You can choose between three temperatures—40°C for warm water or formula milk, 75°C for tea, and 85°C for coffee. You can also choose ambient water or cold water, which is dispensed at a cool, refreshing 8°C.

Another feature of this water purifier is that you can select specific water volumes such as 120ml, 500ml, and 1000ml. Just tap it once, go do your thing, and come back with the perfect amount of water filled up!

4. You get to save on your electricity bill thanks to the energy efficiency

Since this water purifier doesn't use a tank, it doesn't need to constantly reboil water, thus saving energy. LG also uses their innovative Inverter Compressor and Induction Heating (IH) System to help provide almost instant hot, cold, or room temperature water while using less energy.

5. This sleek design is the perfect addition to any home

Being tankless and featuring a 17cm slim design, this modern looking home appliance will fit into any counter top, kitchen, or living room. It's also super flexible thanks to its 180° degree turning rotating tap. As seen in the picture above, the tap can rotate to dispense water from different positions for your convenience.

If you're worried about changing filters or taking care of your water purifier, don't fret because LG will personally send technicians to help you maintain it regularly

Thanks to LG's Total Service Care 1.2.3, you'll receive annual replacement of internal pipes, two-way sanitization by UV sterilization, and servicing every three months. You can even monitor your water purifier by referring to the touch display or downloading the Smart ThinQ app.

When this sleek water purifier arrives in Malaysia, you'll be able to have your own from only RM70 a month
